And I am proud to announce the next newest member to the Band of Brothers

Shakaar Resistance Cell

The games blurb and URL are:

The planet Bajor during the Cardassian occupation was a hell hole of unimaginable proportions. It's population was enslaved by a cruel dictatorship, killed or maimed for their amusement, and worked (sometimes to death) in harsh conditions.

But there were a few, a prescious few, who managed to evade their Cardassian enslavers and form a resistance movement. Bajorans who managed to fight back, managed to find the will to carry on a fight against unbelievable odds.

One such group had as a member the future second in command of DS9, Kira Nerys.

This is the story of the resistance group she was a member of, the Shakaar resistance cell, how they formed, how they relied on each other and what they had to do to survive and fight back against the Cardassians.

Captain Williams RN wanted to make this announcement but I think I will do so instead.

I would like to announce our newest member to the Band of Brothers, a second simm of the age of sail.

High Seas

High Seas is an Age of Sail roleplay set in the year 1794, primarily in the Caribbean. It follows the adventures of HMS Vanguard, a frigate in the British Royal Navy, as she seeks to protect British possessions, merchant trade and influence on the high seas.

Later, it is hoped that we will be able to expand the roleplay to include a pirate ship, a merchantman, a French warship as well as an American warship. High Seas is a historical based roleplay, but we seek to include only enough history to maintain the flavour of the era. Adventure and romance is as important(if not more so) as historical accuracy and we are not adverse to including just a dash of magic and mysticism to the mix.

This is a play by Nova game, and you can tell the GM and crew have put some serious work and heart into it.
