Lost the buzz for Trek

Over the past few months and all the hoohar that went on I lost the buzz completely for anything Trek related. but now, I feel that I wouldnt mind getting back into things. I AM not going to go back to other places, I want to look around and see whats on offer. So if anyone has any ideas how I can get back into the Trek thing, let me know.

I understand all to well. Dorella is going through the same thing.

I know of a Starbase that posts pretty good ;), a Klingon ship has decided to dock with it since they are down to four players, and I don't think the CO is a total jerk. ROFL

Or you could look into playing a Traveler or BSG game if you want, we have both here.

Or... you could just hang out with us here till the fever burns hot to play again.

LOL, thanks guys. I have been writing, been doing some Dragon Riders of Pern games that I have been enjoying. I have loved the books for years, and am having a blast, even got my own game. I have never really played on a BSG game, not sure if I would be much good. Traveller sounds interesting, I still love Trek, but I just find with everythign that went on I just dont know how I really feel. but its good to be here with you guys.

As Lupe said, I been going through the same thing. I wish I knew what to say to help.

I just been taking a bit of a break from it for now and reading this forum and posting in the games a bit.

I tryed making my new character, Leena. I like her and even made her a civilian in hopes it would help spark me up again. But I guess I don't know how to get it back. :(

I feel exactly the same Dorella. I have been on The Dreadnought (yes our friend Stevey) for 5 years, I knew him before the BF days, and even on that one I am struggling. I have loved doing something totally different, and riding dragons is as far away from Trek as you can get. I did think about setting up a luxury Cruiser, and focusing on the escapades of the passengers. but of course that would be adult only. LOL

where do your Weyrsmates hang out when they are not burning thread?

We would love for them to come here if they don't have their own social board. And if your Weyr needs a home you could bring it in here. I know I would love to have another genre represented here.

I was thinking of bringing the Weyr in, its actually going really well and I am loving it. *Ponders*. I will ponder more on the cruiser idea too. HEHE
