Calling All Shop Owners!

Hello!

Okay this feels a bit like a Neopets Guild or some such, but I want to get the Atrium a bit organized with some semblance of a directory.

So if you've written about you or an NPC having a bar/shop/office/holodeck/what-have-you, please reply here with its name, head honcho and whatever you serve/sell/do ('cept for you classified folks :) you can skip the what).

Please everyone do this so we can get a general directory going for future reference. Once I've gotten a good sized list I'll post it and update as needed in The Habitat Dome thread.

You can add one Bar owner to that list. Nergal's Bar, one of the seedier and otherwise lively establishment, in the Atrium. It attracts business as any Bar would, but sometimes cloak&dagger meetings do take place there and always at the knowledge of the diminutive ferengi Nergal. Think of Quark's Bar on Deep Space Nine except Nergal's Bar doesn't have a second or third floor to it and it does have four holosuites that are tied to a separate holographic-network than the station's. I'll try to come up with more about Nergal and his bar tomorrow.

Leena owns a Bar. It is called (Leucothia). It has been around a long time. It was one of the first civillian establishments built when Starbase Haven was first constructed. The Bar was left to Leena by the old man when he died. He was the original owner and the one who gave it the name Leucothia. She keeps the Bar pretty much the way the old man had it.

I would describe it as an older Bar simple in it's decor along with it's old piano. More like a local hang out where people go to relax and chat.

Leena did add a dartboard and keeps a stock of them in the store room as she loves to practice throwing her knife until she splits it into. It is her favorite way to pass the time.

Trusia's establisment will be named: Flight of the Never Nevers

and contains two holosuits.


And was thinking of having her opening another shop, but no inspiration on what it could be, as we already have bars and a giftshop.

Any ideas are welcome. And uh yeah, I should post more with Trusia...

Okay so, so far we have:

A Ferengi-run bar.
A holdover bar from the Station's previous occupants before this crew.
A specialty holosuite theater. (Two larger than usual suites for specialty and in-depth programs)

A cultural library featuring local species (predominantly Klingon)

A "gift shop" featuring local brik-a-brak.

My office :D

An office park with one entire building dedicated to the Fleet Admiral and his staff.

The Spirit Section contains several religious shrines.

The Earth section contains several sculpted gardens and small orchards with paths in between the plants and trees.

The Water section has a huge swimming pool area (think the ledo deck of the Axiom, for those who've seen Wall-E)

I'll be adding more in as well as we go.

The name of the shop where that Cerys' Parents own is called Forsythe's Handicrafts and Whimsys (Finally came up with a name for it)

I wonder if Trade would be welcome here... the last station he was on blew up (and him nearly with it if it had not been for a Klingon who snatched up the pot he was hiding in)

Anyway I miss Trade, he is a good cook and interesting as well.

Who's running the ferangi bar? (player or NPC?) I'm going to have Vance come to the various shop owners to talk business, not sure who to start with.

The Ferangi is Kevron's pet so I guess he is. :lol:

Nergal can be played as a PC or NPC...it was originally intended to be a full rounded character, but the idea never really took root. Anyone can play Nergal.
