Wiki for Safe Haven and BoB

We now have a wiki site for Safe Haven and the Band of Brothers.

If I did it right *cross fingers* I will have to make your account for you. (No Viagra ads for us) So if you wish to have a wiki account PM me and I will put it into the system for you.

Anything you make that you want extra protection on PM me and I will set it as protected.

I wanted to bump this and remind everyone that you can make wiki pages.

So, it's waiting for you, players, GMs, anyone that wants to make wiki pages, we have the room for you to make till your heart's content.

I am importing pages one page at a time, the transfer of databases ain't going to happen.

I got the old one working on my own computer but I can't update it. So, I am copy and paste it page at a time.

One advantage of this is I am seeing how outdated or lacking it is.

So I am asking for help. Anyone that wants to help PM me with your preference of a username and an email addy and I will make you an account.

I need updates on existing pages, pictures copied and put into the wiki file then the page updated to show that pic properly, etc...

I will be moving the pages as I go, doing a letter of the alphabet in every session that I get.

Well, the main site was getting swamped with spambots. So... I disabled the registry system on it.

Both main site and Wiki are the same now. You want to be registered on it, drop me a PM, or email (theblackfleet@gmail.com) with your email addy and the screen name you wish to have and I will put you in the system.

It's a sad day when the bots are so active that they are forcing us to make things harder on our people. *shrug* C'est la vie

I have the same problems with the Angel's forums. For that matter I got 3 spambots trying to register on the George in one day this week.

Just to make sure it's clear, this forum still registers people and we welcome them :wave:

http://st-bob.net is the main site and http://st-bob.net/wiki is our wiki board and both of them require the admin to register you.

And this also reminds me I need to finish my help on the wiki-thing. I haven't forgot about it Lupe. Just uh, been busy exploring a new Starbase? Is that a good enough reason? Anyway, I'll get it done some time, somehow. :)

I encourage all members to also use the wiki for your characters, simms, histories.

If you don't have membership yet PM me with the username and email you want and I will create your account and Wiki will email you a password.
