Gmail will give you a link to a news idem depending on your mail, every time I clean my spam box I get a recipe for something made with... spam. Since I am a firm believer that no one really eats that stuff I think it fits under 'fun'
Share your Spam recipes here, and I will share the ones Google offers me. Who knows, I might have to try one. sarcasm

2 pk Refrigerated crescent roll -dough (8 oz)[/*:m:2o52nkgj]
Heat oven to 375'F. In skillet, cook bacon and onion until bacon is
crisp; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except crescent roll
dough. Separate each package of crescent dough into 8 triangles.
Spread top half of each triangle with SPAM mixture; roll up. Place on
baking sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

3/4 c CHI-CHI's Salsa[/*:m:3jmd361g]

2 c Shredded lettuce[/*:m:3jmd361g]
1/2 c Shredded hot pepper Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese[/*:m:3jmd361g]
1/2 c Nonfat plain yogurt[/*:m:3jmd361g]
Extra salsa, if desired[/*:m:3jmd361g]
Spray large non-stick skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Saute green pepper and onion 2 minutes. Add SPAM. Saute 2 minutes. Stir in salsa and heat thoroughly. Spoon about 1/2 cup SPAM mixture into each flour tortilla. Top each with 1/2 cup shredded lettuce, 1 tablespoon shredded cheese, 1 tablespoon yogurt, and extra salsa, if desired.

1 cn Spam, sliced matchstick size
1/4 c Finely chopped ginger root
1 ea Small red onion, finely
Chopped
1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/4 c Freshly squeezed lime juice
Zest of 1 lime
1/2 ts Oriental dried chili powder
1/4 c Chopped cilantro leaves
8 ea Cherry tomatoes
Thai bird peppers and
Cilantro sprigs to garnish
Combine all ingredients in a sealed glass or plastic container to
marinate. Refrigerate at least two hours or preferably overnight.
Stir or shake occasionally to evenly coat. One hour before serving,
stir in cilantro. Serve on a bed of torn lettuce of your choice.
Garnish with quartered cherry tomatoes, Thai bird peppers and
cilantro sprigs.

Heat oven to 350'F. Spray 2-casserole with vegetable cooking spray.
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. In casserole,
combine macaroni, broccoli, SPAM, and red pepper. In small saucepan,
stir together milk, cornstarch, and pepper until cornstarch is
dissolved. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Reduce heat to low. Add cheese; stir until melted. Stir sauce into
SPAM mixture. combine bread crumbs and margarine; sprinkle on top of
casserole. Bake 40 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Saute mushrooms in 3 Tbs butter until limp. Stir in the crushed crackers, then turn into well greased 10-inch round quiche pan. Press mushroom mixture
evenly over bottom of dish and up the sides. Melt remaining butter, add onions, saute and add shredded Spam. Layer shredded cheeses and Spam in dish.
In blender, whirl the eggs, ricotta, milk and cayenne until smooth. Pour into crust and sprinkle with paprika. Place sauteed red and green bell peppers
on top. Bake in oven at 375 for 40 to 45 mins. Garnished with cooked artichoke.

Fill each tortilla with SPAM mixture and half of cheeses. Roll burrito; place seam side down on 12x8" baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top of burritos. Bake 5-10 minutes of until cheese is melted. Serve
with salsa.

To same skillet, add cream, chili powder, and pepper. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes or until cream has slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Pour over pasta and toss well. Spoon SPAM mixture over pasta. To serve, sprinkle with chopped tomatoes and cilantro.

Title: Coconut Beer Batter Spam with Raspberry Horse

2 3/4 c Flour
2 tb Oil
2 Eggs
3/4 c Cold water
2 c Beer, flat
3/4 ts Salt
Dash pepper
1 1/2 ts Garlic powder
12 oz (1 can) Spam or Spam Lite
2 c Shredded coconut
RASPBERRY SAUCE:
1 c Raspberry sauce or jelly
3 tb Horseradish sauce
Open beer and leave at room temperature over night.
Chill beer and then add water, oil and eggs. Mix just enough to break the egg yokes. In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add to liquid ingredients, while stirring slowly. Add coconut and stir slowly.
Prepare deep fryer as directed by manufacturer. When oil is ready, dip one inch wide strips of Spam in beer batter and deep fry until they float to the surface.
To make raspberry sauce, combine raspberry syrup or jelly with horseradish sauce in small bowl.
Dip in raspberry sauce and enjoy.

In blender, whirl the eggs, ricotta, milk and cayenne until smooth. Pour into crust and sprinkle with paprika. Place sauteed red and green bell peppers on top. Bake in oven at 375 for 40 to 45 mins. Garnished with cooked artichoke.

Ingredients:
1 can Hormel SPAM Luncheon Meat
3 or 4 large fresh tomatoes
3 large, all green skin, fresh cucumbers
12 eggs, bring to boil, set aside for 20 minutes
1 bottle creamy French Dressing
Preparation:
Into large bowl,
Dice SPAM,
Dice tomatoes,
Dice peeled cucumbers,
Dice peeled eggs,
Add French Dressing,
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate.
Delicious at room temperature.

3/4 c Shredded gouda cheese
1/2 c Peeled, diced apple
2 tb Onion sour cream dip
1 pk Refrigerated pie crusts (15 oz)
1 Egg white, beaten
Vegetable cooking spray
1/4 ts Poppy seeds
Heat oven to 425'F. In bowl, combine SPAM, cheese, apple, and dip. Cut one pie crust sheet into 8 wedges. Place 1/4 cup SPAM mixture in center of each wedge, spreading to within 1/2″ of each edge. Moisten edges of pastry with egg white. Cut remaining pie crust sheet into 8 wedges. Place over filling. Press edges of filled pastry firmly together using fork. Place on baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Brush with remaining egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

In skillet over medium-high heat, saute SPAM until lightly browned; remove from skillet. Add cabbage, zucchini, onion, carrot, garlic, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes to skillet. cook over low heat 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Drain juice from tomatoes; reserve juice. Add enough water to tomato juice to make 2 cups. Add juice, tomatoes, SPAM, rice, and brown sugar to vegetable mixture. Cover. Cook 10 minutes. In large saucepan, boil bell peppers in water 5-7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain. Fill peppers with SPAM mixture.

Spoon into buns, pressing filling into buns. Top with reserved tops of buns. Wrap each sandwich tightly in aluminum foil. Bake 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
