Hi,

I'm an experienced player who likes to write, loves characterization, and digging into a story. I have a strong need these days to return to the basics and am looking for a simming home that's going to be around for a while. My perfect simming home would be:

-- SMS or Yahoo based
-- Star Trek or Firefly based
-- Good mix of characterization and plot (no genre crossovers so not interested in light sabers as part of the ship's arsenal :-) )
-- Fast paced -- if its too slow my feet go to sleep. I wish that weren't true but it is.
-- Friendly and welcoming group filled with people who like writing together, who enjoy what they're doing. I've had my nose pressed up against the glass once too often. I'd really like to feel a part of something.

What I can offer you:
-- I promise good, descriptive, posts that are never one paragraph in length.
-- Enthusiasm and a commitment to post regularly and often
-- Not much for showboating -- I'm not the kind of writer that gets kidnapped regularly, receives near fatal injuries on every mission, or tries to hijack the plot. I will do what I can to move the story along.
-- I write a great psycho if you ever need a villain. Seriously. :-)

I'm forum-challenged and while I have tried, I have yet to be successful in a forum style game. That's why I'm stressing SMS (my personal favorite) or failing that, a Yahoo-based game.

My all-time favorite character was a Vulcan/Human female security officer but I've written a number of other characters since then.

If you know of a game that might be a good fit for me, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks for your time.
